Het Reihof: a new service residence with a comfortable and welcoming living environment for seniors in West Flanders

Bruges welcomes a new residence for seniors in the heart of West Flanders. Project developer ION has spent the past 18 months building the unique residence "Het Reihof" on behalf of operator DOMITYS, France's No. 1 for senior residences and a member of the AG2R LA MONDIALE Group. The 10,755 m2 residence, located near the Ten Orchard park, will welcome residents who will be able to enjoy their retirement in peace and in an unparalleled environment. Today, the residence will be officially delivered by operator DOMITYS in the presence of Mayor Dirk De fauw, alderman Franky Demon, architectural firm A1AR and project developer ION. Residents will be able to move into the residence starting in 2024.

'Het Reihof', an innovative senior residence with a focus on resident comfort and personal service, is located south of the center of Bruges, a stone's throw from the historic city center. The number of seniors has steadily increased in recent years, resulting in a rising demand for senior residences. Figures from Statistics Flanders show that 1 in 5 residents in Belgium will be over 65 in July 2022. This trend also continues in Bruges. 25% of residents are 65 or older. With "Het Reihof," the DOMITYS Group places Bruges at the center of its development strategy in Belgium.

'Het Reihof' has everything residents need to age comfortably and peacefully. The homes offer all the comforts residents need to feel at home, with a full range of services and several common areas, including a hair salon, a multimedia lounge for movie nights, a library and a swimming pool.
