BPI Real Estate & LIFE.BE have reached an agreement on the sale of their joint venture “JOMA2060 NV” to ION Residential Platform (IRP)

BPI Real Estate and LIFE.be have reached an agreement on the transfer to ION Residential Platform (IRP) of their joint venture “JOMA2060 NV”, the real estate company that owns the former John Martin brewery at Park Spoor Noord in Antwerp which it is currently developing into a mixed-use residential scheme aimed at letting.
The design is by BOLD architects. Demolition works have started and JOMA2060 expects its first tenants by the end of 2025.
This was a fantastic opportunity to add a state-of-the-art residential scheme with strong ESG credentials to our growing portfolio. The demand for affordable rental housing is increasing, while the availability of qualitative stock remains low. This acquisition allows us to cater to this demand by adding much-needed sustainable homes to the Antwerp rental market.
Located near Antwerp’s Park Spoor Noord, the city’s largest park, the site is easily accessible by public transport, bicycle and car.
